What happens if I deliberately don't complete my airline itinerary

What happens if I deliberately don't complete my airline itinerary?
Its cheaper to book a flight to say Pittsburgh (through Phila) than for me to book a flight to Phila.

The airlines have a right to charge you a huge penalty for not completing your itinerary. I would NOT suggest cheating them.

If it is a one way ticket, then there is nothing the airline can do. If you have a return ticket they could cancel your remaining flights.

Not only could they cancel your return flight, they WILL cancel the return leg of a round trip ticket if you fail to show up for any outbound segment. If you have checked any baggage when you board at the departure airport, it will go all the way to the final destination. Everyone, including the airlines of course, knows about this trick - and they don't like it much.

Nothing........they just cancel the itinerary you don't use....if its round trip......they cancel your return leg......if you check baggage ......it goes to you final outbound.....happens all the time.......
