Former Pittsburgh Mayor Sophie Masloff died Sunday morning at the age of 96. A family spokesman confirmed Masloff, who served as the 56th mayor of the city of Pittsburgh, died shortly before 9 a.m. at the Center for Compassionate Care in Mount Lebanon.
