Public Scene in the Pittsburgh Airport! Do you and your spouse do this

Public Scene in the Pittsburgh Airport! Do you and your spouse do this?
I was waiting on a flight at the Pittsburgh Airport the other day....waiting to get back to Texas. At the gate across from me I noticed a couple getting agitated and their voices were starting to raise. As I watched....I started looking at the faces of others in the crowd. I was embarrassed for them and thought at how uncomfortable I'm sure everyone else was. I "don't" understand why we have to shout at one another.....I understand that we all have a breaking point.....but "NOT" in public. Have you ever had a public scene....and would you stay with someone that's known to do this??? This could have been any city...not picking on Pittsburgh...."GREAT" people there!....>>>>abjones7>>>> they made it a public scene....leave them alone?? I finaly stood up and told them to take it somewhere else...I got tired of listening to it! I'm the nicest guy in the world.....till someone gets rude. The look on his face was priceless.....they both should have been ashamed of themselves!

Yes and you should mind your own business. If they want to air out their dirty laundry let them. If it starts to get out of hand im sure a security guard will escort them out.

no, i think most couples argue behind closed doors, if it's bad enough where your making people uncomfortable, because your just plain making a seen, couples like that are just immature.

No, I've never had a public scene. But I'm from Pittsburgh, and it's unfortunate that's how our city was represented! Maybe it was a one time issue, but personally I would be very embarrassed by a public scene like that. I mean, I know people fight, but most people fight quietly or fight in private. If I were with someone that did this constantly, I would not appreciate it. They'd either need to shape up or ship out on that one. No one needs their dirty relationship laundry aired out for strangers to see. abjones7- How can you mind your own business when you're in a public place and people are shouting? Are people supposed to wear earplugs whenever two individuals choose to fight in public?

my husband and I don't even shout at home raising your voice is disrespectful and counter-productive to the conversation we also try to avoid discussing our disagreements in public, and when we do have to discuss them (when there is no other option because the decision can't wait until we get home) then we usually excuse ourselves to stand in an empty store aisle, or go near the bathrooms to talk, that way there aren't alot of people around to listen in on our private business however my ex and I used to do this and it embarrassed me to no end I couldn't stay with him and part of the reason was how out-of-hand our fights got, even in public

No..that's silly. But my husband and I don't ever really "shout" either.

You're kidding right? Are you one of those nosey neighbor kind of a person? LMAO. So what if a couple were arguing in public. Not such a big deal. Of course my wife and I don't argue or even have heated discussions at home let alone in public, so I see what you mean but still. Live and let live eh?

My ex use to scream at me, call me names and belittle me in front of a crowd. I would never reply as I was so embarrassed. I never stayed with him and I do not understand people who do this in public.

Apparently, You haven't met my wife! Some women tend to think that they can get away with more in public than in the privacy of their home, so they tend to push harder in public places. I grew up in the City of Chicago where there are always a crowd ........ and I was taught that if you show your azz in public, then you get embarrassed in public. Whatever took this couple to the brink of embarrassing you, hopefully they can make up by the time they get home. We definitely don't need them at the same airport that me and my wife travel. p.s. The wifey can be like having to go to the bathroom ............. when you gotta go, you gotta go.

Of course this has happened to me....maybe 20 years ago....now I just mumble "Phuck Off" under my breath and walk away....lol

Nope. Can't say that we do. I will say he knows "the look", you know... the one that Mom use to give us when we we're growing up when she wasn't pleased with us, but couldn't paddle our butts in front of company???

No, we definitely don't fight in public - we may give dirty looks and mumble at each other, but we save it for behind closed doors! I am from Pittsburgh as well, and am sorry we were represented so poorly - I can only hope they were from another city!!! I think you did the right thing - sometimes people are completely oblivious to what is going on around them (and don't care) and are therefore inconsiderate of others.

LOL That's funny! Same thing happened to me but it was at a grocery store. I found it embarrassing for them but I also thought it was funny for them to have the GUTS lol to do that in public. Especially if the girl went all Jerry Springer on his ass lol. I almost went to look for the popcorn but instead I started eating the chips I had already in my hand lol. It is very ridiculous but it can also depend on a persons situation I guess lol. When I know some drama happened between me and my boyfriend and to not cause a scene I smile at him and say just wait till we're alone............. with no witnesses. I'll act as if nothing and pretty much go on like the normal way THEN when we're alone I'll let him have it. lol BUT my boyfriend when he's upset with me he'll still give me his drama but like in a whisper kind of manner and I just walk away each time and tell him we should talk about it when we're home or at least by ourselves. He makes a small scene and I act like whatever and ignore it lol. I don't want to give people a show.

Anger was always directed to me, I was called bad names in public, walked 3 miles in indoor shoes during a snow storm to get away, I never even felt the cold I shudder when I have to hear something like that
